There is now a date and preorders have started for two Shout Factory Ultra HD Blu-ray titles that were already announced earlier this year.
Rocky Mountain Express and Flight of the Butterflies will both be available on July 12th in a Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray combo. Flight of the Butterflies includes the 3D Blu-ray version on the film on the same disc as the 2D version.
Lionsgate just announced that Gods of Egypt will be released on May 31st on 3D Blu-ray, 2D Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray with a DTS:X soundtrack.

It’s a good day for Dolby Atmos and Ultra HD Blu-ran fans.
After Sony announcing the two Ghostbusters movies, it’s not the turn of Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness to be offered on Ultra HD Blu-ray by Paramount on June 14th. The two movies will become the first two releases from Paramount on Ultra HD Blu-ray.
Both movies will be offered with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, the 2009 movie will have a new remix while the sequel will be based upon the theatrical Atmos mix created for the movie.

Sony Pictures just sent a press release announcing officially the new Ultra HD Blu-ray versions of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 for June 7th.
This has been rumoured for a while as there was already 4K remastered Blu-ray versions available from Sony. Both movies will provide a Dolby Atmos remix and HDR picture.

Just a quick note to let you know that a couple of new titles on Ultra HD Blu-ray have surfaced out in the latest weeks. All of those are pending officiel press releases but seem pretty solid.
Lionsgate will release Now You See Me on May 31st.
Warner will release Point Break on Ultra HD Blu-ray, it seems with Dolby Atmos but I will wait to see the disc to confirm that, on May 17th.
Finally, the 20th Century Fox should be releasing the new anniversary edition of Independence Day on Ultra HD Blu-ray on June 7th. According to Italian sources, it seems that the movie will be released with a DTS:X soundtrack, which would be a first for Fox.

Paramount Home Entertainment just announced the release of 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi on Blu-ray for June 7th.
The movie will feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack as it was released in that format in theaters.

Sony continues to strongly support Ultra HD Blu-ray with the announcement of the day and date release of Pride + Prejudice + Zombies on Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 31st.
As with all of the Sony Blu-ray releases, the Ultra HD version will offer a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Please note this is a new mix created for the movie as the movie was not presented in Atmos in theaters.

The backcover of the North American release of the Kong Kong movie Ip Man 3 confirms that there will be a DTS:X Track on the disc. Based on the HK version, it should be the Cantonese track as it is the one available in that format over there.
The Blu-ray will be released by Well Go USA on April 19th.

Continuing it’s strong support of the format, Sony Pictures just confirmed that The 5th Wave will be released on May 3rd on Ultra HD Blu-ray with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
Based on the press release, even if it’s not crystal clear, I tend to believe that the regular Blu-ray version will not receive Atmos.

The 20th Century Fox confirmed today that Joy will be coming on Ultra HD Blu-ray on the same day as it will be available on Blu-ray, May 3rd.
Quick note to add that the soundtrack will be DTS Master Audio 5.1, no object audio on this release, which is totally understandable.
