Quick update to let you know that Game of Thrones: Season 1 is now officially coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on June 5.
Just a quick post on this slow week to let you know that two more Ultra HD Blu-ray releases were confirmed with Atmos.
Peter Rabbit, coming on May 1 and Escape Plan, coming on June 5. Escape plan will also feature Dolby Vision.
I updated the lists on the site accordingly.
Also, big news yesterday as Oppo Digital announced they were not going to produce and develop any new audio products, which include their headphone lineup and their Ultra HD Blu-ray players. It’s a really sad news for the industry as their players were seen unanimously as the best available players.
Just a quick update to let you know that Forrest Gump is coming from Paramount on Ultra HD Blu-ray on June 12. More updates to come on the audio format for this one.
Also, the studio seemed to have given a date to the rumoured Terminator Genisys UHD Blu-ray release for June 12 also. It will also include Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

It’s been pretty much confirmed that Die Hard, from The 20th Century Fox, will be coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 15. No details yet on the HDR format or if an object-based audio remix will be included, I will let you know as soon as the information is available.
It’s finally confirmed, Warner will release The Matrix on Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 22 with both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
This should be a huge catalog release for the format, which has been a real tendency over the last couple of weeks.
Just a quick post to confirm that the last movie in the Maze Runner trilogy, The Death Cure, will be released by the 20th Century Fox on April 24th with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
A big update on the site today, with a lot of new titles having been announced over the last two weeks.

Saving Private Ryan coming on May 8 with Atmos and Dolby Vision.
Braveheart coming May 15 Dolby Vision.
Gladiator coming May 15 with DTS:X and Dolby Vision.
Jurassic Park boxset coming on May 15 with DTS:X.
The Patriot coming on May 22 with Atmos.
Fury coming on May 22 with Atmos.

Pretty substantial update to the lists on the site today with a bunch of announcements and new titles available for preorder.
The new Jumanji movie is one of the big ones with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision coming this March 20 on Ultra HD Blu-ray.
I’m also adding 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Matrix to the list of upcoming 4K titles, it’s looking more and more like a done deal for both as mentioned today by Bill Hunt at The Digital Bits.
Also, The Incredible Hulk is now confirmed on Ultra HD Blu-ray for April 10 in DTS:X, as the title is from Universal and they are the last ones really supporting the format.
Oh and Grease is now also confirmed for 4K Blu-ray, coming on April 24.
A couple of quick updates in this beginning of the week.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing (February 27) and Downsizing (March 20) now both have a release dates on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray, sadly none of them will include object-based audio.
Speaking about release dates, it seems Bestbuy are announcing a release date of March 27 for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. More to come later, I imagine we’ll see the official announcement this week.
Finally, it seems that 2001: A Space Odyssey is coming to 4K Blu-ray, again more to come when it’s official.
