Bumblebee coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray with Dolby Vision and Atmos on April 2

Quick site update to the different lists today with the most important news being that Bumblebee is not confirmed for a release on April 2, with Dolby Atmos on both the Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray plus Dolby Vision on the 4K.

Also please note that Field of Dreams, the baseball movie with Kevin Costner, is coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 14.

Aquaman coming on March 26 with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos

Quick site update with a good list of interesting news regarding Ultra HD Blu-ray:

  • Aquaman has been confirmed for March 26 with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision on its Ultra HD version and Atmos on the regular Blu-ray.
  • Hannibal, the sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, will get a 4K release on April 30.
  • Black Hawk Down’s Ultra HD release will be launched on May 7 with Atmos.
  • The same goes for Godzilla on May 14.
  • Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will have an Atmos track when its released on Ultra HD Blu-ray on March 19.

Glass coming to Ultra HD and Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos

Quick site update tonight with the following news:

  • The M. Night Shyamalan movie Glass will be feature Dolby Atmos on its Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray. No date confirmed yet.
  • Creed II is coming on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos on March 5. The 4K disc will also have Dolby Vision.
  • The catalog title Man on a Ledge will be released on Ultra HD Blu-ray on April 9th with both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.
  • The first three Captain America titles are coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray, but no dates confirmed yet.

I also have to note that once again, we are at a time when there’s absolutely no DTS:X title announced and upcoming, nor on Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray. This also includes any IMAX Enhanced titles. I imagine we’ll some announced in the couple weeks.

Mortal Engines confirmed with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision

A lot of new content was announced over the last week, featuring Dolby Atmos and some Dolby Vision.

Here’s a quick list:

  • Overlord (February 19), Robin Hood (February 19), Mary Queen of Scots (February 26), Mortal Engines (March 12) will all feature Atmos on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray and will have Dolby Vision on the 4K disc. Note that Robin Hood will also have HDR10+, becoming the first disc to have this and Dolby Vision.
  • Green Book (March 5) and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (March 12) will both have Dolby Atmos on Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray.
  • Lord of War will feature Atmos on its Ultra HD version.

Hunter Killer on Ultra HD Blu-ray With Dolby Vision and Atmos

Quick site update today with some interesting news:

  • Hunter Killer is coming on Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray on January 29. Both versions will have Atmos sound while the 4K release will also feature Dolby Vision.
  • The Little Mermaid is coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray, no date yet.
  • The same goes for The Karate Kid, the original one.
  • Finally, the new version of Suspiria is coming on Blu-ray with Atmos on January 29.

New Halloween movie coming to Ultra HD with DTS:X

Quick update to the sites list today with the following more important items:

  • Halloween (2018) is coming on January 15 with a DTS:X soundtrack on both it’s Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray.
  • Hell Fest coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray also with DTS:X on January 8.
  • First Man has been confirmed with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, no date yet.
  • Bad Times at the El Royale is coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray with Atmos on January 1.

How To Train Your Dragon 1 and 2 Coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray With DTS:X

I want to start by saying I’m sorry for the lack of updates over the last two weeks. I just updated the lists on the site with some new titles.

The biggest news is that the first two How To Train Your Dragon animated movies are coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray on January 22, both with a brand new DTS:X soundtrack.

I also added A Simple Favor to the list of movies confirmed with Dolby Vision on UHD Blu-ray and added a bunch of other new upcoming titles.

2001 Delayed on Ultra HD Blu-ray to November 20

Quick update to the site lists this week with the following key things:

  • 2001 is now delayed to November 20 on Ultra HD Blu-ray. A couple more weeks to wait before watching this masterpiece again.
  • I made a mistake last week, it’s actually Dolby Atmos for The House with a Clock in Its Walls.
  • Some new preorders links are up for Ultra HD Blu-ray release: First Man, Goosebumps 2 and Halloween (2018).
