Detective Pikachu coming August 6 on Ultra HD Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos

Big update to the site today considering I’ve been away for a while. I updated all the site lists of releases with a lot of new titles added.

Highlights are:

  • Pokémon: Detective Pikachu on August 6 with Dolby Atmos on both the Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray.
  • The Secret Life of Pets 2 on August 27 with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
  • Aladdin, the animated version, on 4K Blu-ray on September 10 with Dolby Atmos.

Gremlins coming on Ultra HD Blu-ray on October 1st

Quick update to the site lists today with the following key items:

  • Gremlins is coming to UHD Blu-ray on October 1st, no confirmation on audio formats yet.
  • Stand By Me is also coming on the format, on August 27 with a Dolby Atmos remix.
  • Cinderella, the new live action version, will be release on June 25 with Dolby Atmos on the 4K disc.
  • Shazam! has been confirmed for July 16 with Dolby Atmos on both the Blu-ray and UltraHD Blu-ray.

SVS Prime Wireless – Impressive Wireless Speakers Option

Over the last few years, the wireless speaker market has taken an impressive growth. While portable models using Bluetooth technology still make up the majority of the segment, a lot of new devices based on streaming are also appearing on the market. In a segment initiated primarily by Sonos, we are now seeing more and more traditional speaker builders joining the movement. In this context, it is not surprising to see SVS launch a brand new connected system.

Backdraft coming to Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 17 with DTS:X

First, I want to say I’m sorry for the last of updates in the last weeks, as I was away on vacation for a little while and real life catched up.

I just updated all listes on the site, with a lot of small updates announced over the last weeks, even if they were still pretty quiet.

The most important update is Backdraft, coming to 4K Blu-ray on May 17 with a new DTS:X soundtrack.
