Paramount announced this week that the Tina Fey movie Whiskey Tango Foxtrot will be launched on June 28th.
The movie will feature DTS:X and DTS Headphone:X soundtracks.

Creed, Point Break and In The Heart of the Sea in UHD Blu-ray
We knew they were coming due to Canadian preorders, but it’s now official, Warner confirmed that Creed, Point Break and In The Heart of the Sea will all be available on Ultra-HD Blu-ray starting on June 7th.
In The Heard of the Sea will receive the same Dolby Atmos soundtrack while the other two movies will be in DTS HD Master Audio.
Allegiant on Blu-ray and Ultra-HD Blu-ray in Atmos
Quick update to let you know that Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release The Divergeant Series : Allegiant with Dolby Atmos on both Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray on July 12th.

10 Cloverfield Lane On Blu-ray With Atmos
Paramount announced that 10 Cloverfield Lane will be launched on Blu-ray on June 14th and will feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

Humpback Whales Release Date Confirmed For August 2nd
Shout Factory just confirmed that the documentary Humpback Whales will be released on Ultra HD Blu-ray on August 2nd.
It will feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
Journey to Space to feature Dolby Atmos
Shout Factory confirmed this week that both the Blu-ray and the Ultra HD Blu-ray editions on Journey To Space will feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack remixed from the IMAX 12 channel original audio track.
As already confirmed, both editions will be available on June 7th.

The Martian Extended Edition on Ultra HD Blu-ray
The 20th Century Fox announced last week that a new version of The Martian, this time in an Extended Edition with an added 10 minutes of footage. The new cut will be available on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray on June 7th.
Sadly, still no Dolby Atmos love for The Martian from Fox.

Labyrinth coming to UltraHD Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos
Sony just announced that the fantastic movie Labryrinth with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly will be available on UltraHD Blu-ray on September 20th.
The movie will include a brand new Dolby Atmos soundtrack which could be very interesting considering the type of movie it is.
Universal Confirms Ultra HD Blu-ray Support Including Warcraft
Sorry for being late to post this, but Universal confirmed last week that they will be supporting the Ultra HD Blu-ray formats.
They confirm a first list of titles, with no firm release date or specs yet, but had say that object based audio will be part of their releases, which is not surprising.
The initial list is :
- The Huntsman: Winter’s War
- Everest
- Jason Bourne
- Lone Survivor
- Lucy
- Warcraft

Deadpool confirmed on UHD Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos
UPDATE: The Ultra HD version will offer a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, which will be the second one from Fox.
The 20th Century Fox confirmed that Deadpool will get a simultaneous release on Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray.
No details on the audio format yet, but there’s not a release date associated with the release: May 10th. There is information that the Ultra HD version will offer a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
