One of The Kino Classics collection release of this month on Blu-ray, called The Mask, will feature as an added bonus the 3D animated short One Night In Hell which offers a Dolby Atmos soundtrack with music under the supervision of Queen’s Brian May.
I really like the idea of this inclusion on the disc and the fact that it is presented as an highlight of the release. This continues to show strong support for the format even from smaller studios as Dolby Atmos continue to take more place in the home theater industry.
small step for man, one giant leap for mankind 😉
One more ! If only Fox would jump in… Maze Runner Scorch Trials without Atmos… man that is sad… Yeah they will probably do it on UHD, but still…
weird that fox release it in atmos in cinema but not for the home theaters. by the way, saw ‘the gunman’ on bluray in atmos and it was amazing! it was since american sniper i was impressed but this one is even better, top shelf! the best surround moments and a crisp image combined with a good storyline, thats the way i like it!
Nice ! I did not get a chance to watch it yet !
someday all blurays are with atmos or dts:x 😉
everytime i read bluray gets atmos release i hear the champagne bottles popping!
ps. the movie Everest gets atmos… POP!
